ANDERSON - Anna Katherine Abraham and Jon Nickolas Gambrell were married on September 30, 2006 at The Wilhite House in Anderson, SC with Minister Byron Crocker officiating. The bride is the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. John H. Abraham, Jr of Anderson. She is the granddaughter of the late General and Mrs. Lewis Carter Burwell Jr of Pinehurst, NC and the late Mr. and Mrs. John H. Abraham of Alexandria, VA. The groom is the son of Lynn and Bronson Foster of Anderson and Jhonny Ray Gambrell of Williamston. He is the grandson of Ray and Mary Sanders of Anderson and Loreen Gambrell and the late Jhonny French Gambrell of Belton. Maid of Honor was Mary Elizabeth Abraham of Charleston, SC, sister of the bride. Honorary bridesmaid was Gabrielle Foster of Anderson, sister of the groom. Bridesmaids were Chrissi Shortridge, Jessica Morris, Theresa Phillips and Caitlin Gurley of Anderson. Junior bridesmaid was Marissa Ballard and flower girl was A'lyssa Phillips. Best man was Courtney Gambrell, brother of the groom. Groomsmen were Austin Foster, brother of the groom, Jackson Abraham, brother of the bride, Brooke Spell of Charleston, T.J. Hope and Jason Shortridge of Anderson. The bride wore a couture A-line satin, strapless gown. Crystals and sequins with seed pearls donned the bodice with metallic embroidery. Cascading bugle beading continued into the cathedral train. After a wedding trip to the South Carollina coast, the couple will reside in Anderson.
